A lot has changed since the inaugural ZEST Awards Ceremony was held seven years ago. Greater Western Sydney has grown in stature and the ZEST Awards have grown with it. What hasn’t changed is the high quality of community initiatives in the region, with ZEST continuing to attract a range of inspiring and innovative nominees each year.
The Awards, led by Western Sydney Community Forum, have celebrated almost 600 outstanding projects and individuals from the community across the past six years. The ZEST Awards showcase the great work of the Community Sector across the region, promoting a positive image of Greater Western Sydney region through highlighting our assets, our diversity and our creative and innovative work. This region includes Canterbury-Bankstown, Blacktown, Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Cumberland, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool, Parramatta, Penrith, The Hills Shire, Wollondilly and Wingecarribee.
The ZEST Awards culminates with the Awards Ceremony, which has quickly established itself as the premier event for the Community Sector in Greater Western Sydney. All nominees are invited to attend and over 500 people are expected to gather to celebrate the Community Sector in 2017.
