Billie Sankovic - Chief Executive
Billie works with the Board and strategically leads WSCF to shape social policy and service delivery in Western Sydney. She is committed to representing the people and services sector in the region, working actively and collaboratively with regional partners, and providing and championing solutions that build strong communities in Western Sydney.
Billie has extensive leadership experience in community development, service delivery, and social policy and planning. She has spent close to 30 years working across Greater Western Sydney – for the community sector, in local and state government, and at Western Sydney University. Billie successfully delivered the State Government’s first Early Intervention Program in NSW (now Brighter Futures). She led planning for the multi-million dollar community and recreation precinct model in South Western Sydney to service communities in the growth corridor. Billie also represented the Western Sydney community sector in the initial compact which culminated into the Working Together for NSW agreement between NGOs and the NSW Government.
Billie holds a Master of Human Services Management and Policy, awarded with distinction, and a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours).

Tom Nance - Manager Policy & Programs
Tom is Manager of Policy and Programs at Western Sydney Community Forum. He leads major projects and teams to deliver on priorities that benefit the community and services industry across Greater Western Sydney.
As part of this role, Tom is the ZEST Awards Creative Director. He also has led the development and implementation of the Communities of Change Report, Build Beyond Bricks initiative and the Generation CommunitY leadership program. Tom has filled several positions at WSCF including Strategic Initiatives Project Manager, Project Worker for the South West Sydney Homelessness Sector Facilitation Project and IT and Communications Manager.
Tom is a qualified Social Worker, holding a Social Work (Honours) degree from the Western Sydney University and was selected to undertake the Social Leadership Australia program in 2016.

Anita Hanna - Manager Policy & Programs
Anita is Manager of Policy and Programs at Western Sydney Community Forum. She leads projects and teams to deliver outcomes for the community and the industry across greater Western Sydney. She has worked across the community and human services sector in greater Western Sydney for more than 15 years. She has worked in a range of sectors including local and state governments, mental health, settlement, disability and at Western Sydney University. She is experienced in leading significant social change and reform including transition of disability services to the NDIS. Her passions are social justice, human rights and alleviating poverty and disadvantage.
Anita has a strong background in collaborative practice to establish new services and in community engagement and public participation. Her community development experience includes delivering the whole of government, place based Community 2168 project in which she was awarded a Premier’s Award for Engaging with the Community. In her role managing the Community Development program for Liverpool City Council, she introduced new methods of community engagement focused on hard to reach groups and worked with the sector to establish new services including the Liverpool Community Kitchen and Services Hub.

Tim Cahill - Senior Policy & Projects
Tim is WSCF’s Special Projects Officer. He manages and delivers a range of projects that build the capacity of the services industry across Greater Western Sydney and strengthen partnerships and collaboration within the service system.
Tim has worked in project management in both the private and community sectors for over 25 years. He brings extensive experience in project management across multiple disciplines to WSCF. His experience in digital technologies in particular shapes his approach to delivering innovative solutions.
Tim is a Bachelor of Social Work Candidate at Western Sydney University. He previously completed a Diploma of Community Services and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.

Nadiana Albistur - Policy & Projects
Nadiana is enthusiastic about working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities along with youth and wishes to become further involved in this field of work.
Nadiana has been significantly involved within the university by being one of the co-founders of the student lead club, Social & Community Workers Western Sydney as well as being a member of The Academy. She is also eager to take part in projects that will benefit the communities of Greater Western Sydney.

Ken Zulumovski - Primary Consultant
In 2019 Ken Zulumovski Hon DHSc (USyd) received the honorary award of ‘Doctor of Health Sciences’, by The University of Sydney for his outstanding contribution to Australian society. He is the founder and managing director of the consultancy, Gamarada Universal Indigenous Resources (GUIR) Pty Ltd and the Not for Profit, Gamarada Indigenous Healing and Life Training Pty Ltd
GUIR provides specialised and tailored services to individuals and organisations across the private, government and community sectors. GUIR’s spheres of influence include: health, education, justice, and employment. Community engagement across the social & emotional wellbeing and healing fields is GUIR’s forte. GUIR specialises in program co-design and delivery, coaching, mentoring, cultural supervision and organizational capacity building with the GUIR COURAGE Coaching Model. The model combines Wisdom Traditions with Western behavioral science and elements of military leadership and is used extensively for staff training, program development and community engagement. GUIR works to promote community cohesion with a focus on marginalised groups who may be at risk of radicalisation.
This work was independently validated by UNSW. Gamarada was recognised by the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet with an Excellence Award for Building Leadership in Indigenous Communities.
Ken is a part time soldier in the Australian Army Reserve and has experience as an Artillery Crew Commander. He will soon be elevated to the rank of Captain and be posted to the Directorate of Recruitment and Retention assisting in the delivery of the Army’s Reconciliation Action Plan Targets.

Catherine Madziva - Project Assistant
Catherine, our Project Assistant, brings fresh and innovative ideas to our team, ground in her various works alongside charities, an advisory member on youth boards, executive member of a university Youth Collective and the likes. This unique perspective allows Catherine to thrive in her role, being part of various projects and events in and amongst a thriving/emerging Western Sydney.
Catherine is passionate and intrigued with the systems in which community organisations operate in and the means in which more equitable and just communities can be birthed. This passion fuels her desire to further her work in the sustainability and policy projects space.
As a budding social changer, Catherine is currently undertaking her bachelors degree in Social Work at Western Sydney University.

Blake Morris - Digital & Design
Blake once was a young artist, his mother’s lipstick the medium of choice. Illustrating his thoughts all over the living room walls at the age of six. It was then when Blake’s passion for creativity had been discovered. Nominated for the prestigious Graduate Of The Year Awards in his final year of tertiary education, Blake has since graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Graphic Design (Visual Communications) majoring in Illustration. Blake now proudly leads Western Sydney Community Forums Digital & Design Studio at the age of 25.
In his role at WSCF Blake is determined to leave his mark, this time hopefully without the consequences… It’s his creative perspective which allows WSCF to provide stylistic solutions. Inhouse Blake applies his multidisciplinary talents across a range of platforms & projects. For example; Communities of Change Report, Home in Western Sydney Report, Build Beyond Bricks Initiative, Community Care News Digest, & The Annual 1Oth ZEST Awards, with some exciting projects yet to be revealed.
Blake’s passion for greater Western Sydney extends far beyond the football pitch & into the social work sector, motivating him to support & provide creative solutions not only for WSCF but also community organisations. Some of which include; St Vincent De Paul Society NSW, Wentworth Community Housing, Great Community Transport and more. Blake enjoys the attention to detail, a combination of design theory, his gut instinct, and a steady eye all inform his creative decision making. He truly leaves a piece of himself in every project. If I had a project idea I know who I would ask… how about you?

Jishita Sathyanarayanan - Business Administration
Jishita is currently studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Western Sydney University.
She is passionate about social justice within Western Sydney and hopes to gain more knowledge
in the area. Her key responsibilities are to support WSCF in operational, executive and business-related tasks.

Yusra Metwally - Senior Policy & Projects
Yusra is a Senior Policy and Projects Officer at Western Sydney Community Forum. Yusra has a legal background in working at a state-wide Aboriginal Women’s Legal Centre and a background in working in policy settings in government and political settings. Yusra sits on the Bankstown Hospital Consumer Committee and is the founder of Swim Sisters, a grassroots initiative which aims to improve water safety skills in culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Western Sydney.

John Le - Policy & Projects
Born and raised in Western Sydney, John has a deep passion for human rights and social justice. Having parents that came to Australia as Refugees, he grew up to understand what it meant to be part of a minority community, but also learnt how powerful speaking up could be and in doing so, would empower others to do the same.
Driven by these experiences, John has worked with communities in Western Sydney to deliver various social, cultural, economic and placemaking projects that have produced positive impacts, notably his recent work at Penrith City Council. Having developed a strong background in community engagement, John is committed to continuing amplifying the diverse voices within Western Sydney.
John holds a Bachelor of Humanitarian and Development Studies, awarded a place on the Dean’s Merit List, from Western Sydney University.

Camille Derriman - Projects
Camille is a Project Officer at Western Sydney Community Forum, having completed her Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Social Work at Australian Catholic University.
Camille works in many areas of project and policy work at Western Sydney Community Forum, and enjoys being able to do her part to build community capacity, foster collaboration and shape service delivery in Western Sydney. Her main area of interest is mental health but this does not limit her; she welcomes any opportunity to learn new skills and knowledge in all areas of social work, and continues to develop herself both personally and professionally.

David Hill - Primary Consultant
David undertakes a range of policy and program initiatives for the WSCF.
He has extensive experience in both the private sector and the public sector. He the Immediate Past President of the Parramatta Chamber of Commerce and has worked in Western Sydney for the past 7 years.
David was the CEO at ARC, an industry training organisation and group training organisation. David’s public sector experience includes Director of Sustainability Programs at the Department of Environment and Conservation, Community Regeneration Manager in Orange and Bathurst for Housing NSW and as the Manager of the Office of Regional Communities for NSW Premier’s Department. David has formerly held the role as the Chair of the Veritas Board, providing services for homeless youth in the Central West and has been the NSW Director at ACPET.
David is currently the Chair of the Business Environment Expo, an annual event assisting businesses along a sustainability pathway.
David has a Bachelor of Business (majors in Economics and HRM), a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning, a Masters of Urban Design and a Vocational Graduate Certificate in Education for Sustainability.
