Skills Training and Resource Service (STARS) Training Calendar March 2022 

STARS training is available throughout March, with priority given to CHSP volunteers and workers from the Canterbury-Bankstown and Inner West Local Government Areas. Topics include volunteer training and networking, and community governance training. Note there is updated information which has not been included in the calendar but is included when clicking the registration links to each session within the calendar. Community Services Students Available for Potential Workplace Supervisors

Granville TAFE has a number of trained and supervised students from their Diploma of Community Services who are ready to complete their final placement of 100 hours.  They can contribute to projects involving quantitative/qualitative research, customer service, and advocacy. Specific work and the scheduling of hours will be negotiated between the student, workplace supervisor and academic supervisor and should ensure adequate opportunities for learning and applying skills.

The Department of Health has a range of COVID-19 resources available in Easy Read format, for people with disability as well as others requiring accessible information. Information includes COVID-19 FAQs, preventing the spread, vaccinations, emergency planning, and phone numbers for seeking support.
